Dear Students and Parents,
My name is Al Bennett, and I am proud to be your new Dean of Students and part of the Bulldog family. I come to Ayala High School and the Chino Valley Unified School District from my former position as a teacher at Cajon High School in the San Bernardino City Unified School District. During my eight year tenure in my former district, I served as a high school History teacher, an active participant in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program as a Middle Years Program teacher, Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) teacher, a Master teacher, a Professional Learning Communities Strand teacher leader, a Mock Trial Coach, and an Academic Decathlon coach.

I grew up in Carson, California where I attended California State University Dominguez Hills and where I earned my BA in Political Science. I earned my teaching credential, MA, and administrative service credential at Chapman University. I have truly enjoyed my career helping students to succeed at high levels and lead well-rounded lives.

I am charged with working with great people to make this happen for our students on a daily basis.
As the newest member of the Bulldog Administrative team my duties include but are not limited to: Facilities, attendance, and discipline. My door is always open and I will attempt to be as accessible as possible. Moreover, I will always try to discipline students in a firm, fair and transparent way.
